Pin Point Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kettering. This is a permanent night shift opportunity, offering excellent earning potential and a stable working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule
- Respond to mechanical breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production continuity
- Continuously improve maintenance practices to maximise service levels
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental requirements
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Time-served Mechanical Engineer with relevant qualifications
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight time constraints
- Positive, proactive, and “can-do” attitude
- Multiskilled experience (mechanical/electrical) would be advantageous
