Reach FLT Driver
Location: NE27
Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour + shift enhancements
Contract: Initial 2-month contract
Shifts:
- Early: 6:00am – 3:00pm
- Late: 1:30pm – 10:30pm (enhanced rate)
Purpose of the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Reach FLT Driver to support operations within a well-established engineering company. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Reach Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely
- Support stock control and general warehouse duties as required
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
- Follow company procedures and site regulations at all times
Essential Requirements
- Valid Reach FLT licence (external qualification, in date)
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience operating a Reach FLT
- Ability to work early and late shifts on a rotating basis
- Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
Additional Information
This position is offered on an initial two-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and performance.
