Technical Rescue Team - Devon

About the role:
As part of our technical rescue team you’ll be providing critical support and rescue services for our growing customer base in the South West:
- Providing on-site safety management and technical rescue services.
- Working closely with our clients to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Responding to emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Performing all duties as assigned by the Rescue Team Manager.
- Ensuring all appropriate personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
- Ensuring all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are completed accurately and stored correctly.
- Understanding of client work permits procedures.
- Communicating effectively with our team members to ensure works are operating safely.
- Always ensuring availability whilst on shift to affect a rescue.
- Maintaining competence at rescue techniques and assist in rescues as directed.
- Participating in required training and demonstrates a working understanding of safe working practices.
- Ensuring their training accreditations are current and suitable for work undertaken.
- Inspecting and verifying equipment prior to use.
- Recognising worksite hazards and notifying the Rescue Team Lead of any unsafe conditions.
- Actively participates in toolbox talks and practical demonstrations of rescue techniques.
About you - desired qualifications:
- City & Guilds High-Risk Confined Spaces certification
- City & Guilds Emergency Rescue and Recovery of Casualties from Confined Spaces
- FREC 3 or equivalent emergency services qualification.
- Be able to pass security clearance and DBS check.
- CSCS Card
- Rescue Professional or UK Emergency Services experience.
