Sales Engineer - RF (028lw) - South East (flexible working) - £35k - £50k
(subject to exp.)
Are
you a technician or engineer with military experience looking to transition
into a customer-facing, technical sales role? OR have already acquired some
sales experience & looking to further develop?
This
is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical background in RF/satellite
communications, radar, electronics, or telecoms while developing commercial
skills in a structured, supportive & progressive environment.
The
role requires knowledge of how the systems are constructed alongside the
capability to sell the system building blocks
A
flexible working model, with expectation to be the office 1 x week in Southeast
and remainder field based (customer visits) & working from home. SC Clearance level would be an advantage (but
not essential)

As
a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the following -
Managing
and expanding relationships with existing customers across the UK &
Ireland.
Identifying
and developing new business opportunities within the defence, aerospace,
satcom, space, and industrial sectors - many of which align closely with
military experience.
Providing
technical expertise on a range of radio frequency (RF) & microwave
components and systems to help clients find the best solutions.
Working
with key defence and government clients, including the MoD and major defence
primes.

Ideal
experience
HNC/HND/Degree
in a STEM subject or equivalent technical knowledge.
Background
in electronic, RF/satellite or microwave applications typically in a defence,
aerospace or telecoms organisation (experience in DAS architecture, RAN,
surface mount components, amplifiers, or coaxial components is a plus in
addition to experience within a test & measurement environment).
Strong
problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive, self-motivated
approach.
A
team player with leadership qualities, used to working in structured
environments.
Full
UK driving license
