Transport Administrator / Operations Coordinator

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 16:15 – 21:30
- Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
- Contract: Part-time
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Twilight Transport Administrator / Operations Coordinator to support the evening operation within a busy transport environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working independently while remaining confident communicating with drivers, internal teams, and external contacts.
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the operation during the twilight shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Working independently to manage the evening operation
- Producing and updating daily and weekly reports using Excel
- Communicating with drivers regarding routes, arrivals, and general queries
- Liaising with on-site teams and external contacts as required
- Supporting traffic and transport activity where needed
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring operational information is up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working alone and managing your own workload
- Basic PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and a confident, people-focused approach
- Some transport or traffic knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Flexible and reliable, with a proactive attitude
- Organised, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise tasks
